IBGEeduca is the IBGE’s communication channel turned to education. The platform includes three major groups: children, teenagers and teachers. Its language and interface are adjusted to bring information about Brazil, population and territory to those three different publics. Content is official, thus reliable, and it is explained in a ludic and simple way, contributing to enhance citizenship engagement. The platform can be displayed on multiple devices.
Content for children includes games, fun activities, a drawing board and other ludic formats. For teenagers, content is targeted to their needs: the High School National Exam and curious up-to-date information. Teachers, in turn, can find classroom activities and instructional material such as videos, maps and e-books, as well as a teacher’s blog: a collaborative space in which teachers from all over the country can participate.
