This video illustrates the key learnings of the evaluation of UNHCR's response to a major system-wide emergency response in the aftermath of two large natural disasters in Southern Africa forcibly displacing millions of people, namely Cyclones Idai and Kenneth in March and April 2019.
From an evaluation approach stand-point, the video serves as a compelling example of how this "perfect storm" sparked organisational learning and use: it provided evidence-based inputs to broader corporate reflections leading to policy changes in the area of climate action.
