First, a prospective entrepreneur needs to be introduced to some important concepts about entrepreneurship which assist them in deciding if entrepreneurship is right for them. Each of the topics represent one module. This first course focuses on highlighting the benefits of setting up a business. It looks at the most common challenges faced by entrepreneurs in developing their businesses, including discussions on how to manage cash flow, taking risks, and working with a budget to meet customer expectations. By the time they have finished this course, participants will be able to determine whether entrepreneurship is the right path for them.

The course consists of six modules:

  • Module 2: Why Entrepreneurship?
  • Module 3: The Strengths of Entrepreneurs
  • Module 4: The Entrepreneurship Culture
  • Module 5: Innovation
