The International Data Masterclass is aimed at developing the data literacy of non-analytical senior decision-makers and policy makers across international governments and departments. It is also available to aspiring future leaders and middle management levels, and serves as a refresher for those who are analytical. The course is delivered across three modules covering: Data-driven decision making & policy making, Communicating compelling narratives through data, and Data science and new frontiers. The course uses a unique blend of key note talks from world-leading data experts, plus supporting global case studies and articles.
This course has been developed by the Office for National Statistics of the United Kingdom (ONS), the UK Foreign Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO), the Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP), the Statistical Institute for Asia and the Pacific (SIAP) and the United Nations Statistics Division (UNSD).
