Industrialization is one of the main drivers of transformational change towards the 2030 Agenda and its SDGs. Hence, tracking and understanding progress on SDG-9 is critical. UNIDO’s mission to accelerate inclusive and sustainable industrial development (ISID) around the world hinges on reliable statistics, data and analysis.
The innovative IAP tools use existing data to enable stakeholders to monitor performance and progress across manufacturing industries worldwide, while also raising awareness of the data gaps that must be addressed.
The IAP tools include:
- The SDG-9 Industry Tracker: Explore progress towards achieving industrial development targets.
- The Production Tracker: Explore manufacturing performance across economies and industries.
- The Competitive Industries Tool: Analyse exports of different manufacturing industries.
- The Value Chains Tool: Assess how local production is integrated into global value chains.
- A compilation of articles on recent trends on SDG 9-related issues
